LCCS-based land cover databases contain information that can be used to derive indices
representing spatial relations within different land cover/land use
types.
Field Area Ratio
LCCS-based land cover data for 10 Africover-East Africa
countries have been processed in the Advanced
Database Gateway (ADG) software to generate area ratios based on fields
size classifiers. This section provides maps and data sets showing the distribution
of these ratios, which may be related with levels of mechanization.
